24. Another Tough Door Wreath for exposure.

I used the above method on my metal doors and it works very well and doesn't show up if there is no wreath.

25. Air Dried and Artificials for Exposure:

This wreath gives the floral look but is mostly done in air dried background foliage and artificial berries and flowers with wired ribbon. All of this makes for quite a tough wreath. Full sun will weather anything, even cast iron, but a wreath like this will give good service, especially if there is a little protection.

26. How to Determine the Size:

This is a 34" door with a 28" wreath ( including the twigs). A larger door can take a larger wreath, of course. Larger wreaths stand out more and are seen better from the street. Smaller wreaths make less of a statement, but some people do prefer them. As a general rule, I make most wreaths in the 28" range as this looks good on most standard front doors (which are usually 36"), and it is also the biggest wreath I can ship before the shipping charge goes up, so it is the most for your money. I have begun shipping the standard box by regular or priority mail. This has given very reliable service, arrives usually in 2-3 days for priority mail (5-7 regular mail), and means I don't have to go to town (60 miles away) to my Fed Ex terminal. Fuel is too dear to do that very often. On the larger boxes, I have to ship by Fed Ex. Shipping charges depend on the box size, destination, and the speed of delivery requested.
